Introducing Swapin: How Crypto-To-Fiat Payments Came to Be
The story begins with Swapin founder and CEO Evald-Hannes Kree recognizing that there was a massive gap between the world of digital assets and traditional finance. Kree recalls the early days of his career in crypto when finding a partner bank to fund his ambitious vision was still a challenge.
Since then, Kree and the Swapin brand have become leaders in the crypto-to-fiat payments space. Swapin offers a full suite of B2C and B2B tools that make doing everyday, ordinary money-related tasks like grocery shopping, covering monthly bills, or paying for services at a wide range of merchants online. It is even easy for merchants to accept cryptocurrencies and immediately be paid in a corresponding bank account in EUR, all without the fees, fluctuations, and headaches related to crypto custody, accounting, and compliance.
B2C tools include Instapay and Instafill, with a new Instabuy crypto purchasing option on the way. B2B solutions include E-Com and CoinCollector, each allowing merchants and businesses to accept crypto yet receive fiat instead. These merchants can tap into new revenue streams and grow customer satisfaction using payment links and widgets, which can be implemented directly into a merchant website or online store.

This incredible lineup and a refocus on select European countries as part of an updated roadmap that includes a marketing expansion has attracted some of the worlds most iconic innovators around finance and crypto. Together with the new team of brilliant minds, Kree believes Swapin “can change the world.” The Swapin roadmap is ambitious and includes the development of a virtual IBAN implementation. As a regulated company, Swapin is also working to receive its Electronic Money Institution license.
